To reduce the risk of struvite stone formation (recurrence, recurring struvite stones) URINARY was developed according to the latest scientific findings. To prevent struvite stones, which often occur with FLUTD (= Feline lower urinary tract disease in cats), the composition of the food was developed in such a way that the pH value of cat urine is clearly in the low range at 6.4. URINARY contains DL-methionine and ammonium chloride as urinary acidifiers and has a low magnesium content. High digestibility and high energy density are also important for prevention.
